13 Weeks Has Come and Gone

Abilene, TX - Mark and Jennifer Rogers are officially into the second trimester of their pregnancy, according to Abilene Obstetrician, J. Leonard Tadvick, MD.

The appointment today included a look at the baby from outside of Jenn's stomach. The baby would have been too big for an internal and more magnified look.

It's been about three weeks since they saw HH and since the last glimpse, the baby has grown considerably coming in at right around six centimeters, or about the size of a lime.

Jenn has also gained good weight...three pounds since the last appointment.

They saw the baby sucking its thumb and twisting and turning in all directions. It is definitely a mover.

Dr. Tadvick said all looked great and will see the couple again in four weeks. He left them with a handshake and several pictures from the ultrasound procedure that he performed today.

Before the appointment Mark found himself all alone with Jenn's purse and coat in the waiting room. The nurse came through the door and called "Mark Rogers", at which time Mark stood up, gathered up the coat and purse and said, "I sure hope I'm not pregnant." All the waiting pregnant women just laughed and laughed. Mark sure has a way with pregnant women.

Mark and Jenn will find out the sex of the baby in just about seven weeks. Jenn is excited about finding out which color to paint the nursery. Mark is excited about finding out which tattoo he is going to get.

If his brother, Jeff, does not create the tattoo designs before the pregnancy, Mark was heard telling a friend that he will just end up getting a tattoo of Jeff on his shoulder blade...dressed like a woman. A very ugly woman, with the inscription "My Brother Jeff is An Ugly Woman" underneath it.

Mark and Jenn's family members should also stay tuned for a much more serious and informative email from Jenn in the coming hours.

  1. Mark, you are so messed up, but I love your little waiting room humor. Don't all the other mummies just love your wit? Cheeky indeed. Lana
